New York Jets

What are some opinions on the Jets?? With all of the hype in the offseason it sounded like they were one of the best teams in the league. They brought in a couple great veterans to get better, but I don't see any changes. Yes, on paper their team looks good, but i don't think they will win their division. I think the Patriots will still take the division and the Jets might possibly fight for a wild card. It seems like the Jets turned more into a show than a football team. With Rex Ryan, Darrelle Revis, Santanio Holmes, and Braylon Edwards, the team just can't stay out of trouble. To add to their extremely confidence, the television show "Hard Knocks" does not help their image. I think the 2010 Jets are a fluke and deserve no consideration as one of the best teams in the league.

  1. I understand what your saying. They looked horrible on O against the Ravens, but their D was incredible. Last week against the Patriots the O looked great once they finally opened it up, and the defense held a high powered offense to just 14 points. Once they get Holmes back from suspension they will be even better on offense, and once Revis's hamstring heels up they have arguable the best defensive in the league. Plus LT is showing some glimpses of his younger days as a charger.

  2. I think the fact that were only two weeks in its hard to give judgement to the New York Jets the only true fact is that there (1-1) and that this team was in the AFC Championship game a year ago. Yes the Jets have a ton of hype and the team has some troubled figures on it but none the less the Jets i think are still going to find a way to be a competitor as long as no major injuries occur. Mark Sanchez needs to grow up a lot this year if the Jets want to continue winning last year they only asked him to Manage games and i think this year especially if Revis' hamstring keeps him out longer than expected he's gonna have to win them games like he did Sunday against the Patriots.
